    Summer is fading, some say it was never here
    But it’s been good to our 60 year old tree
    And the pears are here to share.

    Even when ripe, they’re more tart than sweet
    And often carry quite the crunch,
    But they are still a tasty treat
    Perfect for your lunch!

    So from us to you please take a few
    And delight in that last bite of summer.
    Winter will enter right on cue
    And some of us think that’s a bummer.
